UPDATE The White House has confirmed earlier report that Obama hooked up Bruce with #1 fan Chris Christie via a phone from Air Force One. Bruce has famously declined inviting the governor backstage at any of his concerts. Christie reportedly was caught by surprise when Obama told him there was someone coming on the line to speak to him. And then a, "This is Bruce." See video of Christie talking about it below--apparently he actually met Bruce last Friday, also via Obama.
