Monet for Nothing

And the original eye-pads.   It's Claude's birthday today, going back to 1840.  Recalling amazing trip a few years back to his house and garden and famous lily pads and ponds at Giverny.   It was semi-recreated at the Bronx Botanical Garden earlier this autumn.  This photo captures one of the pools outside where the giant pads form these cups.   Yes, this is not photoshopped.
